Top stories

Pupils are less happy in school and staff are more likely to have experienced bullying or physical violence, according to a new report from Edurio. Other findings include pupils are less interested in what they’re learning and less likely to recommend their school to others [Schools Week].

At least 32,000 pupils recorded as being on part-time timetables last month, new data analysis shows. This is despite government guidance warning that part-time timetables shouldn’t be used to manage behaviour [Tes Magazine- registration required].
