DfE planning new guidance for medical interventions at school. This non-statutory guidance will set out roles and responsibilities of school staff, amid concerns that a lack of school nurses is leading schools to carry out more complex medical care. [Schools Week]

Delayed KCSIE guidance promised for July. The DfE has promised that Keeping Children Safe in Education, usually published in May or June each year, will be published this month, with minimal changes. [Schools Week]
